The 9.0 overnight is the highest for the Fiesta Bowl since the 2008-09 season (TEX/OSU: 11.6, FOX), and the third-highest dating back to the 2003-04 season (nine telecasts). The Fiesta Bowl earned a 36.7 rating in Oklahoma City and a 13.9 in the Bay Area, records in both markets for a bowl game on ESPN, according to Sports Media Watch.
