During the broadcast event Commissioner Goodell will answer questions from audience members in studio with him, discuss current league matters, and talk about his experiences working at the NFL. The special will be hosted by Michael Strahan, the former All-Pro defensive lineman for the New York Giants and host of Live with Kelly and Michael and Fox NFL Sunday.
“SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Roger Goodell” will air on SiriusXM NFL Radio (channel 88 on Sirius and XM Premier) on Monday, October 22, at 7:00 pm ET.

Roger Goodell became the eighth chief executive in the NFL’s 92-year history when he took office on September 1, 2006. Fan interest in the NFL has soared under his leadership, including the largest television audiences in league history, enormous growth in online and social media engagement, and other measures of business success. In his first six seasons as commissioner, Goodell has addressed a wide range of issues to improve the NFL, including player health and safety; the medical needs and pensions of retired players; personal conduct; revenue sharing; stadium construction; media innovation; and international development.
Commissioner Goodell joined the NFL in 1982 as an administrative intern in the league office in New York. He served the league in a variety of roles in the ensuing 24 years and was instrumental in many of the NFL’s accomplishments prior to becoming commissioner, including expansion, realignment, stadium development, the launch of NFL Network and the negotiation of the league’s television agreements.
