Compass Media Networks is pioneering the national syndication of local NFL teams, distributing both the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders nationally. But the local market is still very critical and since it doesn’t own stations of its own, Compass inks a multiyear agreement with CBS Radio’s “Sports 1140” KHTK, Sacramento to serve as the flagship. This deal marks a Raiders return to KHTK, which carried the broadcasts during much of past decade, according to Inside Radio.
