Joe Theismann, former Redskin QB and DC area resident, posted earlier today on his Twitter page a message confirming that he will not be returning to NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football in 2011. The tweet was, “Guess y’all figured out won’t b doing Thursday night Football. But it was alot of fun last yr. Will still b doing playbook, now let’s play.” Mike Mayock reportedly will be replacing Theismann and Matt Millen, as the analyst for the Thursday night games in 2011.
