WOMEN’S SEMI-FINALS HIGHLIGHT CBS SPORTS’ COVERAGE OF U.S. OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS ON FRIDAY, SEPT. 7

CBS Sports’ continuing coverage of the U.S. OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS on Friday, Sept. 7 (12:30 PM-6:00 PM, ET) is highlighted by the women’s semi-final matches following the men’s doubles championship.

Coverage is highlighted by No. 1-seeded Victoria Azarenka taking on No. 3-seededMaria Sharapova, followed by No. 4-seeded Serena Williams against No. 10-seeded Sara Errani.

The men’s doubles championship featuring No. 2-seeded Bob Ryan/Mike Bryan versus No. 5-seeded Leander Paes/Radek Stepanek precedes the women’s matches.

CBS Sports’ “Super Saturday” coverage on Saturday, Sept. 8 will feature the men’s semi-final matches (12:00 NOON-6:00 PM, ET) and will be highlighted by the women’s championship in prime time (8:00-10:00 PM, ET).

CBS Sports coverage of the 2012 U.S. Open Tennis Championships will conclude onSunday, Sept. 9 (4:00-7:00 PM, ET) with the men’s final.

Lead play-by-play announcer Bill Macatee is joined by expert analysts Mary Carillo andJohn McEnroe in the booth. Jim CourierMary Joe Fernandez and Chris Wragge round out CBS Sports’ announce team.
