Two years ago this week ESPNChicago.com debuted, propelling the sports media power player on a new digital path. The goal was to create city-specific sports news and information portals. With four more websites now live in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Boston, ESPN says the “foundation” for the web properties has been its owned-and-operated radio station in each market, according to Inside Radio.
