The radio industry has been keenly focused on the digital dashboard, but at the same time Sirius XM Radio has been building a bigger base of potential users in the car. The company announced today it recently passed 50 million factory vehicle installations. Sirius XM estimates that seven of every new cars that will roll off the lots this year equipped with satellite radio, reports Inside Radio.
