Joe Beninati, long-time Capitals play-by-play man with Comcast TV, said today on The Sports Junkies Show in DC that he was hurt when the Versus Network did not bring him back to do NHL games on the channel. Beninati said he put in nearly 20 years working toward doing national games, and it was a three minute phone call that ended his tenure at Versus.
