Chris Russell, ESPN 980 Redskins beat reporter and radio host, said today on The Sports Fix on ESPN 980 that RB Mark Ingram is reportedly heading to the Washington Redskins practice facility for a player workout. Ingram, who during his sophomore season in 2009 won Alabama’s first-ever Heisman Trophy, is expected to be one of top running backs taken in the NFL draft, and has been heavily courted by the Miami dolphins. The running back position remains an area of concern for Washington as they recently released Clinton Portis, and now are left with Ryan Torrain and Keiland Williams as starters.
