Veteran ESPN reporter Lisa Salters has received one of the network’s highest-profile assignments. ESPN announced Wednesday that Salters will be the sideline reporter for the network’s ‘Monday Night Football’ telecasts starting this season. ESPN used a rotation of reporters last season. Salters has previously served as a sideline reporter for the NBA Finals (2006) and the BCS National Championship Game (2010), both on ABC. The addition of Salters comes on the heels of ESPN dropping Ron Jaworski from the Monday night broadcast team, reports Sports Media Watch.
