2/13 – Gannett Offers Employee Buyouts

Following the lead of The Washington Post, McLean-based Gannett, the media giant behind USA Today, has offered a new round of buyouts to veteran employees of its U.S. community publishing division, The Wall Street Journal reported. The voluntary packages reportedly have been offered to 665 employees who are at least 56 years old and have been with the company for 20 years. The Washington Post also announced its latest round of buyouts last week, according to Potomac Tech Wire.
