1/24 – NFL Playoffs Attract 23 Million to Radio

There are no overnight ratings in radio like TV, so Dial Global commissioned a national telephone survey to determine how big Sunday’s radio audience was for the AFC and NFC Championship games. Edison Research determined the total radio audience was 22.9 million. Most tuned into FM/AM radio, but some fans listened to the games on satellite radio or through Verizon Mobile, according to Inside Radio.
