John Beck said today that he believes he will be the Redskins’ starting QB for the 2011-12 season during an interview on the Lavar Arrington Show with Chad Dukes on 106.7 The Fan. The Redskins reportedly signed Beck to a two-year, $2.25 million contract extension in 2010. Beck was already under contract for $1 million, so the team now has him locked up for the next three years, at a total salary of $3.35 million. Beck started four games for the Dolphins in 2007 but hasn’t played at all since then.
