7/6 – Sports Radio Gets High Tech

In the sports radio equivalent of CBS Radio’s Last.fm music website, ESPN Audio Now tracks an individual’s preferences based on previously listened-to content and offers suggested content. ESPN says the new player makes it easier, faster and more appealing to consume sports audio. DVR-like functionality enables “rewinding” up to three hours of programming. For clients there’s a richer advertising experience, according to Inside Radio.
