Ratings and viewership increased for coverage of the College World Series on the ESPN family of networks, though the numbers still trailed 2009 and 2008. The South Carolina/Florida College World Series championship averaged a 1.4 U.S. rating and 2.233 million viewers on ESPN (two telecasts), up 27% in ratings and 43% in viewership from last year (SC/UCLA: 1.1, 1.558M), but down 22% and 19%, respectively, from 2009 (LSU/TEX: 1.8, 2.762M).
