Ratings for the NASCAR Nationwide Series have increased by double-digits on the ESPN family of networks. Coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series has averaged a 1.5 U.S. rating and 2.236 million viewers on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC this season. The 1.5 rating marks a 20% increase from last year and a 13% rise from 2009. Saturday’s Alliance Truck Parts 250 from Michigan earned a 1.5 and 2.228 million viewers on ABC, up 25% in ratings and 24% in viewership from last year (1.2, 1.800M, ESPN2), and up 25% and 36%, respectively, from 2009 (1.2, 1.642M, ESPN2), according to SMW.
