Through Sunday (22 telecasts), coverage of the 2011 Gold Cup has averaged 1.671 million viewers on the Univision networks, up 35% from 2009. The network scored a pair of solid audiences over the weekend. Saturday’s Mexico/Guatemala match drew 4.295 million viewers on Univision, and ranked as the night’s top program on broadcast television among adults 18-34, adults 18-49, men 18-34 and men 18-49. Univision won the night on broadcast in all four demographics, according to SMW.
