Jared Max, who has recently taken a job with Disney’s 1050 ESPN (WEPN) in New York, said on his show that he is gay. Max said he was inspired most recently by certain individuals coming out including former Villanova basketball player Will Sheridan, and Rick Welts, CEO of the NBA team Phoenix Suns. Although he feels good about the announcement, Max said he does not plan to bring up his sexual orientation again on the air.
