Sirius XM Radio ended the second quarter with a record 26.3 million paid subscribers, a 5% increase from one year earlier. The satellite broadcaster added a net 475,472 subscribers during the quarter. Despite the gain and a 10% increase in revenue to $1 billion, second quarter profit fell 4.4% due to increased operating expenses, reports Inside Radio.
