Red Zebra Broadcasting and the Washington Redskins announced today that they have agreed to a 5 year radio partnership that will keep the Washington Redskins games on Red Zebra Broadcasting through the 2015 season. All games will be heard on Red Zebra Properties in Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, and Virginia Beach, VA. Red Zebra’s WTEM-AM; ESPN 980, in Washington DC will serve as the flagship station for The Redskins Radio Network which consists of 31 stations in four states and the District of Columbia. The Redskins Radio Network will air four (4) pre-season, sixteen (16) regular season and the post-season games. Each broadcast will include a pre-game and a post-game show. The Redskins are scheduled to begin their 2011-12 campaign on August 12th with a home pre-season game against the defending AFC Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.
