The Washington Redskins will select Prince Amukamara, senior cornerback out of Nebraska, with their first-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft if still available, according to a source familiar with the team. Washington has a primary need at the position, he is a plug-and-play prospect who can contribute right away, and the team has not re-signed veteran corner Carlos Rogers during the off-season. The move would solidify the secondary unit making them one of strongest in the league with DeAngelo Hall, and O.J. Atogwe and Landry at the safeties.
