Former NFL defensive end Hugh Douglas is joining ESPN as a NFL studio analyst. He will provide analysis across a myriad of studio programs such as SportsCenter, NFL Live, ESPN2’s First Take and ESPNEWS. Douglas will make his ESPN debut today including appearing on NFL Live at 4 p.m. ET. A 10-year NFL veteran who played for the New York Jets (1995 – ’97), Philadelphia Eagles (1998 – 2002, 2004) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (2003), Douglas was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1995 by both the Associated Press and Pro Football Writers Association (PFWA). Selected No. 16 overall in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Jets, Douglas was a three-time Pro Bowl (2000, 2001 and 2002 seasons).
