NEW YORK – SiriusXM will present a special NASCAR-themed Mother’s Day special, hosted by Claire B. Lang and Carol Bickford, mother of four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon, on Saturday, May 12 (2:00-4:00 pm ET) on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
Dialed In to Mother’s Day will air live from Darlington Raceway, site of this weekend’s races, and will celebrate the relationships between several of NASCAR’s star drivers and their mothers. Lang and Bickford will talk with a number of NASCAR moms about their childrens’ accomplishments on and off the track and share stories and memories of their journeys from racing’s junior circuits to the pinnacle of their sport – the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Among the moms who will be featured on the special will include Martha Earnhardt, mother of NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Sr.; Gaye Busch, mother of Kurt and Kyle Busch; Mary Lou Hamlin, Denny Hamlin’s mother; Pam Boas, mother of three-time and reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart; Carl Edwards’ mom, Nancy Sterling; andTammy Kahne, mother of Kasey Kahne.
