ESPN Rise High School Basketball Invitational begins today in Bethesda, Md., featuring some of the country’s best boys and girls high school basketball teams including top ranked FAB 50 ESPN RISE teams. No. 5 Montrose Christian (Rockville, Md.) is the event’s top seed and owns wins over two of the other heavyweights in the field – No. 11 Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) and No. 18 Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.). Montrose is 22-1 on the season and takes on John Carroll (Bel Air, Md.) in Thursday’s opener at 2 pm. All games will be televised live in HD by ESPN’s networks.
