The Sports Junkies on 106.7 The Fan in DC today interviewed former player and new MASN’s Nationals analyst F.P. Santangelo, who played four years in the majors with the Expos and in three seasons afterwards, one with each of the Giants, Dodgers and Athletics. Santangelo introduced himself to the Junkies and talked about Spring Training and the benches clearing between Washington and St. Louis’ game yesterday. Last year Santangelo became the host of San Francisco’s KNBR-680 AM SportsPhone680 in the 7-10 p.m time slot. He was also a reporter and fill-in game announcer for Giants broadcasts on CSN Bay Area and the Giants Radio Network. This season he will be paired with play-by-play announcer Bob Carpenter.
