Mike Wise, mid-day radio host on 106.7 The Fan in DC, called out the Mormon religion while doing an on-air interview with ESPN college football analyst Trevor Matich, who was a member of the 1984 BYU NCAA football championship team. Wise said the religion was hypocritical about condemning homosexuality in relation to the incident involving Brandon Davies, the BYU basketball player violating the school’s honor code. Wise grilled Matich on BYU prohibiting certain behaviors in their honor code, but at the same time, failing to acknowledge that homosexuality exists.
