Studio Team to Provide Roving Coverage From Around Premier League Fan Fest in NYC

STAMFORD, Conn. – November 15, 2017 – NBC Sports Group’s Premier League Live studio team of host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe will take Manhattan, broadcasting live from its “Premier League Mornings Fan Festival” at South Street Seaport on Saturday, Nov. 25, beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group is bringing “Premier League Mornings” to life by transporting the authentic Premier League experience across the pond, and the Premier League Live team will broadcast from the event throughout the day. The fan festival takes place on Thanksgiving weekend as a thank you to loyal Premier League viewers, and will include supporters of many clubs, a turf pitch, match-viewing areas, a special glimpse at the Premier League trophy before it is handed off to this season’s champions, Chelsea youth coaches and the club’s mascot, and more.

In addition, viewers across the country can get in on the fun by checking in on social media using #PLonNBC wherever they are watching. Select viewer photos will be featured on air that day.

Premier League Live will also feature special guests including Andres Cantor, lead voice of Telemundo’s 2018 FIFA World Cup coverage, who will preview the Dec. 1 Final Draw of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Men in Blazers’ Roger Bennett, Chelsea legend Ashley Cole, and former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg. Clattenburg, who won Best Referee of the Year at the 2016 Globe Soccer Awards, has refereed several notable matches, including the 2016 UEFA Champions League Final and the UEFA Euro 2016 Final.

Supporters will be out in full-force to cheer on their teams ahead of the day’s matches, highlighted by Manchester United v. Brighton & Hove Albion at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN, Tottenham v. West Bromwich Albion at 10 a.m. ET on CNBC, and culminating with Liverpool v. Chelsea at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. In addition, Lowe will host Goal Zone at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC live from the festival, joined by Earle and Mustoe.
