ESPN’s networks will feature top 10 teams in key conference games, including a top 5 team on the road vs. a ranked opponent, throughout the day on Saturday, highlighting the industry-leading week 9 schedule. Overall, more than half the ranked teams will play on ESPN’s networks in the final week of play before the first College Football Playoff rankings are released (Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. on ESPN).

ABC’s Saturday Night Football: No. 7 Clemson or No. 10 Oklahoma at Home in Conference Matchups
Two top 10 teams hosting conference opponents will be featured on ABC’s Saturday Night Football Presented by Walmart as the premier network series features either No. 7 Clemson at home against Georgia Tech or No. 10 Oklahoma welcoming in Texas Tech. All fans will have access to both games, as the two games will air nationally on either ABC or ESPN2 in every market.

The Clemson Tigers return to action after suffering their first conference – and only – loss of the season against Syracuse in week 7 and welcome in the Yellow Jackets, who also only has one conference loss, which was to undefeated Miami.  Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be in Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C., for the call of the game.

The Sooners have worked their way back into the top 10 after back-to-back victories and now welcome in the Red Raiders. Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield once played for Texas Tech before transferring to Oklahoma and will be facing his former team for the final time. Oklahoma is on a five-game winning streak in the series they have dominated all-time (18-6 record).  Steve Levy, Brian Griese, and Todd McShay will be in Norman, Okla.

Marquee Matchups All Afternoon Lead into Prime Time Slate
Saturday’s slate begins with a marquee matchup as No. 11 Oklahoma State is at No. 22 West Virginia (noon, ABC) in a Big 12 showdown matching teams up with 3-1 conference records. Both teams only loss of the year came to No. 4 TCU, who remains undefeated. Joe Tessitore, Todd Blackledge, and Holly Rowe will be in Morgantown, W.V. for the call of the game.

In the same timeslot, ESPN and ESPN2 will feature a pair of undefeated teams, as No. 5 Wisconsin travels to Illinois (ESPN) and No. 8 Miami heads to North Carolina (ESPN2). Both teams will be playing in only their second conference road game of the year.

The high-stakes matchups continue into the late afternoon as No. 4 TCU at No. 25 Iowa State (3:30 p.m.) and UCLA at No. 12 Washington (3:30 p.m.) will be show throughout the country on either ABC or ESPN2.

The Cyclones will be looking for their second top 5 win of the season as they previously beat then-ranked No. 3 Oklahoma (Oct. 7), propelling them to a three-game winning streak which has them ranked for the first time since 2005.  The Horned Frogs look to maintain their perfect record on the season and their domination in conference play, which has seen them outscore their opponents 144-61. Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy and Tom Luginbill will be in Ames, Iowa, for the game.

The Huskies, coming off their first loss of the season, host the Bruins in Pac-12 matchup. UCLA is looking for their first conference road win of the year.  Bob Wischusen, Brock Huard and Allison Williams will be in Seattle.

Also in the 3:30 p.m., No. 16 Michigan State will be at Northwestern (ESPN) as the Spartans look to remain undefeated in the Big Ten. Anish Shroff, Ahmad Brooks and Roddy Jones will be in Evanston, Ill.

Heisman Hopeful Takes Center Stage on Thursday Night
ESPN’s Thursday night telecast (Oct. 26) features Heisman hopeful Bryce Love as No. 20 Stanford is at Oregon State (9 p.m.). The junior running back has nearly 1,400 yards rushing on the season including toping more than 250 yards twice and 300 yards once in a single game. He has helped the Cardinal bounce back from two early season losses and has them at 5-2 on the season and tied atop the Pac-12 North.
