2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship Semifinals Field is Set

After two weekends of play, the field of teams for the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship semifinals is set. Defending champion and top-seeded Maryland, No. 3 seed North Carolina, No. 4 seed Syracuse and Penn State will face off beginning Friday, May 27, at 5 p.m. from Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa. Penn State will face North Carolina, followed by Syracuse taking on Maryland at 7:30 p.m. The semifinals will be carried on ESPN3, with winners advancing to the national title game Sunday, May 29, at noon on ESPNU.
