CBS Radio promotes Steve Swenson to SVP/market manager of its five-station Washington, DC cluster. Swenson replaces Sam Rogers, who resigns from the post effective June 10. Swenson arrives from New York, where he managed all-news WINS (1010) and WCBS-AM (880). Rogers was a key force behind WPGC 95.5, WIAD, 94.7 Fresh FM, Spanish contemporary WLZL, 99.1 El Zol, and sports talk WJFK, 106.7 The Fan.
