Securing the rights for one of its key content partners for years to come, SiriusXM Radio has signed a six-year extension of its play-by-play deal with the National Football League. The agreement covers every NFL game from the preseason through Super Bowl LVI in 2022 as well as SiriusXM NFL Radio, the satcaster’s dedicated NFL channel.
SiriusXM has carried NFL play-by-play since 2004. The games are available to all subscribers on their satellite radios. Subscribers with the SiriusXM All Access package also get authenticated access to every game via the SiriusXM app and at SiriusXM.com. In a first, programming from the dedicated NFL channel is available to subscribers on SiriusXM On Demand.
SiriusXM also airs multiple Spanish-language NFL broadcasts each week of the season, reports Inside Radio.
