ORLANDO, Fla. (May 20, 2015) – The Champions Tour stages its second major in as many weeks as Colin Montgomerie defends the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid from French Lick Resort in Indiana. World No. 1 Rory McIlroy will defend his 2014 title at the European Tour’s flagship BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club outside London on the heels of two victories in his past three starts at the Wells Fargo Championship (last week) and the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Match Play (earlier this month). On the PGA TOUR, World No. 2 and Texas native Jordan Spieth headlines the field at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial in Fort Worth.

European Tour’s flagship event: The BMW PGA Championship will be contested at Wentworth Club for the 32nd consecutive year at the European Tour’s headquarters in Surrey.

McIlroy looking for third win in four starts: Rory McIlroy, No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking, will attempt to win his third title in four starts after winning the Wells Fargo Championship last week, and the WGC-Cadillac Match Play earlier this month. This week marks the fourth of five consecutive planned worldwide starts for McIlroy, as his foundation hosts the Irish Open next week.

McIlroy defends: Rory McIlroy finished one shot ahead of Shane Lowry for his sixth career European Tour win.
