FOX Sports’ Week 9 CFB Schedule Features Five Top-25 Squads

No. 9 TCU Battles Texas Tech on FOX; No. 22 USC Faces No. 20 Utah on FOX Sports 1

New York – As the race toward the College Football Playoff heats up and with teams in survival-mode trying to capture one of the coveted four playoff spots, FOX Sports’ Week 9 schedule includes five teams currently ranked in the Associated Press top 25.

Action kicks off Friday, Oct. 24, as No. 9 Oregon heads to Cal, looking to avoid a second loss and remain in the playoff conversation. The Ducks and Bears kick off at 10:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 1.

On Saturday, Oct. 25, No. 9 TCU welcomes Texas Tech on FOX (3:30 PM ET) in a fierce Big 12 battle between in-state rivals, before the Pac-12 takes center stage that night as No. 20 Utah hosts No. 22 USC on FOX Sports 1 (10:00 PM ET). Also on Saturday, No. 25 Marshall jumped into the rankings this week and could be one of the nation’s few remaining undefeated teams entering its matchup with Florida Atlantic on FOX Sports 1 (3:30 PM ET), and Rice hosts North Texas on FOX Sports Regional Networks (12:00 PM ET).

Undefeated, Fourth-Ranked Baylor Highlights FOX Sports 1 Tripleheader

This weekend, a FOX Sports 1 tripleheader kicks off Saturday, Oct. 18, at 12:00 PM ET as No. 4 Baylor, fresh off its last-second, come-from-behind win over TCU last weekend, looks to remain undefeated on the road against West Virginia. At 4:00 PM ET, a pair of ranked Big 12 squads takes the field as ninth-ranked TCU attempts to recover from its heartbreaker, hosting No. 15 Oklahoma State. In the nightcap, No. 9 Oregon is coming off a huge win over UCLA and hopes to remain in the College Football Playoff conversation, traveling to Washington for an8:00 PM ET kick.

Before Saturday’s full day of action, FOX Sports 2 presents a Thursday night Pac-12 showdown as No. 20 Utah heads to Oregon State at 10:00 PM ET on Thursday, Oct. 16. Originally scheduled to air on FOX Sports 1, the game was moved due to Game 5 of Major League Baseball’s National League Championship Series and can now be seen on FOX Sports 2, FOX Sports GO, the Pac-12 Networks, Pac-12 Now and select MyNet channels in local markets.
