Redskins’ quarterback Donovan McNabb finally acknowledged the wristband story, but refused to say whether he refused to wear a wristband, and called the story “amazing.” He expressed confusion as to why there has been so much criticism of him lately. The story was first brought to light by The Sports Junkies on 106.7 the Fan in DC, and has since been the subject of media fights between traditional news organizations and the Junkies. The media are now turning on each other. Thanks a lot NFL lockout.
