STAMFORD, Conn. – April 17, 2014 – Day 2 of NBC Sports Group’s comprehensive coverage of the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs continues tonight with doubleheaders on NBCSN and CNBC, beginning at 7 p.m. ET on CNBC with the (3) Philadelphia Flyers and (2) New York Rangers, followed by the (4) Minnesota Wild and (1) Colorado Avalanche at 9:30 p.m. ET.
NBCSN’s game coverage starts at 8 p.m. ET, when the (2) St. Louis Blues host the rival (3) Chicago Blackhawks. The action continues on NBCSN at 10:30 p.m. ET, as the (3) Los Angeles Kings visit the (2) San Jose Sharks in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series. NHL Live, NBC Sports Group’s live NHL pre-game and post-game studio show, starts at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and airs throughout CNBC’s doubleheader coverage.

Game coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET tonight on CNBC with Claude Giroux and the (3) Philadelphia Flyers visiting Henrik Lundqvist and the (2) New York Rangers in Game 1 of their first-round series. Ken Daniels and Pierre McGuire will have the call from Madison Square Garden in New York.
CNBC’s first-round coverage continues at 9:30 p.m. ET when Nathan MacKinnon and the (1) Colorado Avalanche host the (4) Minnesota Wild.John Forslund (play-by-play) and Tripp Tracy (analyst) will have the call from Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo.
Tonight’s doubleheader on NBCSN begins at 8 p.m. ET with a battle of Central Division rivals, when Ryan Miller and the (2) St. Louis Blues host Jonathan Toews and the (3) Chicago Blackhawks. Dave Strader (play-by-play) andBrian Engblom (analyst) will provide live commentary from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.
The action continues on NBCSN at 10:30 p.m. ET, when Jonathan Quick and the (3) Los Angeles Kings visit the (2) San Jose Sharks in Game 1 of their first-round series. Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda will call the action from the SAP Center at San Jose in San Jose, Calif.
If tonight’s Flyers-Rangers game on CNBC runs past 9:45 p.m. ET into the start of Wild-Avalanche, puck drop of Wild-Avalanche will be shown live on NHL Network until Flyers-Rangers has concluded. Wild-Avalanche will return to CNBC immediately following the conclusion of Flyers-Rangers.
If tonight’s Blackhawks-Blues game on NBCSN runs past 10:45 p.m. ET into the start of Kings-Sharks, puck drop of Kings-Sharks will be shown live on NHL Network until Blackhawks-Blues has concluded. Kings-Sharks will return to NBCSN immediately following the conclusion of Blackhawks-Blues.
