Game 1 – (4) Blue Jackets-(1) Penguins at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN

All Games on NBC, NBCSN and CNBC Will Be Streamed Live Via NBC Sports Live Extra

STAMFORD, Conn. – April 16, 2014 – NBC Sports Group’s comprehensive coverage of the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs begins tonight with a triple-header across NBCSN and CNBC, starting with NHL Live at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Game coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on CNBC when the (2) Tampa Bay Lightning host the (3) Montreal Canadiens. NBCSN’s game coverage begins with the (4) Columbus Blue Jackets visiting the (1) Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the (4) Dallas Stars and (1) Anaheim Ducks at 10 p.m. ET

Playoff coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET tonight on CNBC with Steven Stamkosand the (2) Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the (3) Montreal Canadiens in Game 1 of their first-round series. Jim HughsonCraig SimpsonGlenn Healy and David Amber will have the call from the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Fla.

First-round coverage on NBCSN begins at 7:30 p.m. ET, when the (4) Columbus Blue Jackets visit Sidney Crosby and the (1) Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 1. Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike “Doc” Emrick and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call from CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The first-round action continues on NBCSN at 10 p.m. ET, as Ryan Getzlafand the (1) Anaheim Ducks host Tyler Seguin and the (4) Dallas Stars at 10 p.m. ET. John Walton (play-by-play) and Butch Goring (analyst) will call the action from the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

If tonight’s Blue Jackets-Penguins game on NBCSN runs past 10 p.m. ET into the start of Stars-Ducks, puck drop of Stars-Ducks will be shown live on NHL Network until Blue Jackets-Penguins has concluded. Stars-Ducks will return to NBCSN immediately following the conclusion of Blue Jackets-Penguins.
